The Stage 1 Power package is safe and powerful. Combining the latest heat exchanger technology. CarBahn’s Heat exchanger increases OEM heat exchanger capacity by 40%! This heat exchanger uses F1 heat exchanger technology. This makes our heat exchanger dramatically more efficient than the lower cost heat exchangers on the market. The race car heat exchanger is also very light. Combined with Performance controller and ST 2 software the St 1 PP is fast and durable. The CarBahn Performance Controller (CPC) is an easy-to-install electronic control unit (ECU) that significantly boosts the turbocharged cars’ horsepower and torque. This plug-and-play unit offers selectable maps, which can be accessed through a smartphone application via Bluetooth.

These maps are specifically designed to optimize performance based on different octane fuel levels. You have the flexibility to choose between 91, 93, and 100 octane options.

Additionally, CarBahn offers an optional powertrain warranty for all their products, including the CPC.

If you wish to switch from the CarBahn Performance Controller to software in the future, there is an upgrade fee of $250. However, if you have purchased a warranty, it can be transferred to the software upgrade at no additional charge!!

 

Emissions Legality:

Let us address the topic of removing the catalyst, commonly achieved through the utilization of downpipes. Our rigorous testing regimen involved conducting consecutive dyno runs with and without the catalyst, and the observed power gain was significantly smaller than commonly touted, typically around 11 HP. Nevertheless, it is important to acknowledge our shared responsibility towards environmental preservation, as clean air is vital to our well-being. Furthermore, obtaining the necessary emissions certifications without a catalyst is a daunting task and, from a legal standpoint, it is considered an infringement.
