The CarBahn Monoball Kit replaces the rubber bushings in the stock thrust arms with sealed precision ball joints inside machined aluminum housings. As a result of eliminating the deflection that is inherent in rubber bushings, braking stability is improved, and the tendency for the car to follow ruts in the road (especially with wider wheels and tires) is reduced.

The bearings inside the Monoball Assembly are nylon-lined for quiet operation, and are sealed against water and debris intrusion for longevity.

    This is my first purchase with this company. I have M5 C LCI and wanted to improve the chassis and handling. I went all in with toe links, monoball and HAS spring kit. I have no local Carbahn dealer, but my local dealer agreed to install all the parts. I did trust them as they were an M certified dealership. Nevertheless, directions included with all parts were easily followed by the dealership. The master mechanic drove the car for 5 miles and was quite impressed with the new handling. No significant noise vibration are handling issues were noted. I have given the car now for 200 miles and I canmot stop putting miles on the car. It handle so much better over our typical Michigan Roads even though I still seek out the smoothest pathway. The car is so much more planted. Entering and exiting turns are more fun and I feel more power on a straightaway for sure. I love the feeling of the car being level. Taking a Highway exit when it says slow down to 35 or 40 but still staying at a normal speed limit is quite amazing. (80 mph) I would recommend this upgrade to every M5 owner. The spring rate and handling improvement is worth every penny!

    The car now stays very true on the road. turn in is so much more fun! Ruts are not followed as easily compared to the stock set up. It almost feels hydraulic in a way. I have this bad habit of having the car the left and lane assistances always correcting. I do not really do that anymore with this set up. The car stays true and turns are now much more direct. No significant noise noted. It really is somewhat magical!
